With an extended leg and a bit of luck Allard Borgman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Allard Borgman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franklin de Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Allard Borgman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin de Queiroz in the 11th minute of play. In the 12thth minute of the game Franklin de Queiroz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C Petru B.U.C's Allard Borgman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the game, one of Real Death Ducks:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The score was 1-0 after a penalty in the 15th minute, where F.C Petru B.U.C:s Alexandru Perișoară tricked Real Death Ducks:s Syd Cullen with a difficult ball by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in F.C Petru B.U.C's zone, Franklin de Queiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allard Borgman came out of the goal and Franklin de Queiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute, Valer Baltian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute Robin Hultstrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allard Borgman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allard Borgman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ive Volckaerts, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Real Death Ducks were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after F.C Petru B.U.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ive Volckaerts took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Augustin Cârstea got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-1. 24 minutes into the match. Robin Hultstrand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Allard Borgman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Franklin de Queiroz to strike the kick off in the second half. Pankracy Adamowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Real Death Ducks's Yu Sen Yue got a free kick in the 58th minute. Francisc Buteanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Robin Hultstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute Pankracy Adamowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Syd Cullen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franklin de Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allard Borgman having to interfere. Syd Cullen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pankracy Adamowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Syd Cullen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisc Buteanu in the 76th minute of play.
