The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrea De Toro got free with Chiquinho Peres in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the match, Uraricuera EC's goalkeeper Chiquinho Peres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrea De Toro. A hard shot 7 in the game by Andrea De Toro from a close distance when the talented Chiquinho Peres managed to make a qualified save. Uraricuera EC's players were relieved. The supporters of Hummerfiskarna booed when Uraricuera EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafa da Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Holger Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glauco Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Bolli Bolla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute Bolli Bolla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Uraricuera EC's Glauco Aparecido sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Holger Mattsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Munhoz to make the kick off. Holger Mattsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Glauco Aparecido in the 52nd minute. Hummerfiskarna's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
