Holger Mattsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Hori, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Hummerfiskarna's Andrea De Toro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Virgilio Bernard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Andrea De Toro took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Virgilio Bernard to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrea De Toro got free with Virgilio Bernard in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea De Toro in the 31st minute of play forced Cridas FC's goalkeeper Virgilio Bernard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cridas FC's Eloy Sedeni got a free kick in the 35th minute. Hummerfiskarna's Conrado Olayo was substituted for Hana Banana. A collision led to Cridas FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Eloy Sedeni hit a great ball. Virgilio Bernard came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Hummerfiskarna's Andrea De Toro. But to his dismay, Andrea De Toro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 42 minutes into the match, Bolli Bolla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Virgilio Bernard, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sánchez in the 46th minute of play forced Hummerfiskarna's goalkeeper Holger Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucio Hori was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Andrea De Toro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hummerfiskarna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrea De Toro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Virgilio Bernard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrea De Toro in the 55th minute of the match. After 57 minutes Cridas FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Florin Răducioiu who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Hummerfiskarna's corner Florin Răducioiu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Virgilio Bernard quite easily take care of the ball. Andrea De Toro took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgilio Bernard. Virgilio Bernard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Andrea De Toro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Virgilio Bernard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrea De Toro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Bolli Bolla notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Cridas FC's Virgilio Bernard. Virgilio Bernard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnaldo Queirós took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgilio Bernard. Virgilio Bernard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Cridas FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hummerfiskarna:s goal. Cridas FC:s Virgilio Bernard showed great skill when he stopped Arnaldo Queirós:s penalty. 91 minutes into the match, Cridas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bolli Bolla came free, but Virgilio Bernard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virgilio Bernard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Queirós in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Bolli Bolla made a precise shot to the right of Virgilio Bernard. Cridas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0.
