A collision led to Characate FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Leon Napierkowski hit a great ball. Characate FC's Benjamin Price played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Golaki Goiano in the 16th minute of play. The Jataiense Futebol Clube fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Jataiense Futebol Clube's Golaki Goiano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 22 played minutes Jataiense Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Milošević. Alperen Bozkurt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Afonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Alperen Bozkurt managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Characate FC's Nestor Gaxan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alperen Bozkurt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Txanton in the 29th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pablo Felip in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Price saved Characate FC from getting behind. In the 35th minute Leopoldo Afonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alperen Bozkurt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Price came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Jataiense Futebol Clube's Pablo Felip. But to his dismay, Pablo Felip quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leopoldo Afonso to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Jataiense Futebol Clube booed when Characate FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Lidman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Afonso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alperen Bozkurt. Jataiense Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leopoldo Afonso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Afonso in the 65th minute of play forced Jataiense Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Alperen Bozkurt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Characate FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Golaki Goiano scored to the left of an out of position Benjamin Price, making the score, 1-3. In the 71st minute, Wágner Fox ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Price was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wágner Fox in the 74th minute of play forced Characate FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Price to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 minutes Characate FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zachary Figlewski who took care of the corner kick. Nestor Gaxan hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Alperen Bozkurt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Afonso in the 88th minute of play. Leopoldo Afonso hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Jataiense Futebol Clube players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
