Bertil Kilström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredão Bueno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Weterio Valdivieso's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. When Montrel Verdu came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Red Devils F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Montrel Verdu couldn't finish the play. Wincent Arbaszewski hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. If Vítor Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, İsrafil Rasif hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredão Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Weterio Valdivieso, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Raimundo Gonçalves's late challenge caught a Red Devils F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raimundo Gonçalves helped the player get up and apologised. Raimundo Gonçalves hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Nilson Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 36 minutes of play Atlético Cristo Rei's Raimundo Gonçalves was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 38thth minute of the game Weterio Valdivieso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Cristo Rei's Alfredão Bueno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 42 minutes into the match, İsrafil Rasif notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Atlético Cristo Rei's Alfredão Bueno. Alfredão Bueno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Weterio Valdivieso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Alfredão Bueno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Weterio Valdivieso made a kick off. The supporters of Red Devils F.C booed when Atlético Cristo Rei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fernando Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredão Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Weterio Valdivieso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Weterio Valdivieso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Batıray Özaltan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 67 minutes, Weterio Valdivieso made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Atlético Cristo Rei's Alfredão Bueno tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Weterio Valdivieso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredão Bueno was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. İsrafil Rasif struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Alfredão Bueno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Devils F.C. 73 minutes into the match, Weterio Valdivieso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alfredão Bueno, 0-6. Montrel Verdu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. İsrafil Rasif sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Red Devils F.C fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Red Devils F.C's Weterio Valdivieso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alfredão Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İsrafil Rasif, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fernando Paulista in the 91st minute of play forced Red Devils F.C's goalkeeper Bertil Kilström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredão Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İsrafil Rasif in the 94th minute of play. Montrel Verdu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alfredão Bueno came out and tried to block the shot, but Montrel Verdu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Red Devils F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Atlético Cristo Rei.
