An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Lara in the 3rd minute of play forced Sportivo Chupeño's goalkeeper Aytek Subahi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Sportivo Chupeño's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Lara came free, but Aytek Subahi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aytek Subahi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Vila Nova FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Jiang Nan Han hit a great ball. After 9 played minutes, Sportivo Chupeño's Michel Abadie shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fiori Mota came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sportivo Chupeño reached it. Fiori Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Endura Abechuco in the 11th minute of the match. Luca Postelnicescu didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 14th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Luca Postelnicescu ran dejectedly back to his position. Sportivo Chupeño's Aytek Subahi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléber Basso in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Vila Nova FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard De Fretes came free, but Fiori Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fiori Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard De Fretes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fiori Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francis Stuart in the 24th minute of play. In the 29th minute Endura Abechuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiori Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes of play, Sportivo Chupeño's Palmiro Noronha made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fiori Mota was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sportivo Chupeño's Aytek Subahi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Lara in the 38th minute of play. Michel Abadie hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Vila Nova FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luca Postelnicescu in the 41st minute. Mete Nared made a great header on Vila Nova FC's corner, it was just that Sportivo Chupeño's Aytek Subahi managed to reach the ball for a save. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Aytek Subahi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Chupeño's zone, Vladimir Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aytek Subahi came out of the goal and Vladimir Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Vila Nova FC's Kåre Brolin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kåre Brolin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Vila Nova FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kåre Brolin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Vila Nova FC's Kåre Brolin got a free kick in the 47th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Michel Abadie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Chupeño's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michel Abadie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luca Postelnicescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sportivo Chupeño's Aytek Subahi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mete Nared in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Sportivo Chupeño's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Postelnicescu came free, but Aytek Subahi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Sportivo Chupeño's goal looked a bit too open when Mete Nared came free, but Aytek Subahi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Luca Postelnicescu sped through Sportivo Chupeño's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aytek Subahi. Fiori Mota came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Chupeño's Francis Stuart. But to his dismay, Francis Stuart quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Sportivo Chupeño made a substitution. Tino Abeijon replaced Endura Abechuco. A collision led to Sportivo Chupeño getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Gringo Heinze hit a great ball. Aytek Subahi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mete Nared in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute, Mete Nared ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aytek Subahi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléber Basso in the 90th minute of play forced Sportivo Chupeño's goalkeeper Aytek Subahi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
