If Vladimir Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the game, Burt Burachek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fiori Mota was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mete Nared could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Borys Poreda made a huge save. In the 24th minute, Jakub Lukowski made a precise shot to the right of Fiori Mota. Vila Nova FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Victoria Toruń's Borys Poreda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Victoria Toruń from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Mete Nared took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Borys Poreda to make any attempt to save it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Naci Kac to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mete Nared in the 52nd minute of play forced Victoria Toruń's goalkeeper Borys Poreda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fiori Mota made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zhu Yan Quan in the 54th minute. Luca Postelnicescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Borys Poreda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mete Nared in the 57th minute of play forced Victoria Toruń's goalkeeper Borys Poreda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
