Fiori Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Behe Abarca in the 9th minute of play. Kristoffer Martinsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimir Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. With an all-out effort, Vila Nova FC's Kristoffer Martinsson threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luca Postelnicescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Deportivo Empate's Kristoffer Martinsson got control of the ball when Mete Nared tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mete Nared could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Kristoffer Martinsson made a huge save. Cléber Basso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Kristoffer Martinsson made a huge save. Nickolai Skivild received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Fiori Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deportivo Empate's Kristoffer Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Lara in the 41st minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

James Abeijon kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. After having played for 51 minutes, Vladimir Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vila Nova FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimir Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fiori Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zunbeltz Abascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Ingmar Wiman notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Vila Nova FC's Fiori Mota. Fiori Mota was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cléber Basso was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Dagoberto Abarca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 86th minute Mete Nared shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristoffer Martinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Ingmar Wiman made a precise shot to the right of Fiori Mota. Vila Nova FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The Deportivo Empate players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
