In the 3rd match minute, Botev Plovdiv 1912 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Bingen to maneuver through the defense. Lv Zhen Ning kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Billy Borre sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bograngen's Gerhart Krainert didn't even have to move. Gerhart Krainert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Blasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Botev Plovdiv 1912's Kajetan Daszkowski got a free kick in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Dewa Gol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Bale. Botev Plovdiv 1912's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dewa Gol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, Bograngen's goalkeeper Gerhart Krainert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kajetan Daszkowski. When Benigno Bingen was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 28 minutes had been played. Benigno Bingen kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Dewa Gol made a precise shot to the right of Christian Bale. Botev Plovdiv 1912's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Christian Bale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dewa Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Dewa Gol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Bale was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dewa Gol in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Bale saved Botev Plovdiv 1912 from getting behind. Dewa Gol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Bale having to make a save. Christian Bale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dewa Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Botev Plovdiv 1912's Di Kun got a free kick in the 41st minute. Bograngen's Dewa Gol got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Bograngen were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Bograngen's Sven-Olof Eklund was substituted for Erland Stenqvist. After 53 played minutes Bograngen got a freekick which was hit by Zygmunt Tobaczewski. Billy Borre didn't quite understand what happened when in the 54 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Gerhart Krainert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Blasi in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute of the game Di Kun made a throw-in which Ognyan Filipov played forward. Christian Bale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dewa Gol in the 63rd minute of the match. Botev Plovdiv 1912's Paul Romeo was substituted for Moises Blasi. Botev Plovdiv 1912's Velyo Vidolov was substituted for Ognyan Filipov. 70 minutes into the game, Toni Tagarov threw the ball into play from the sideline. Bograngen's Stig-Ove Kiempe quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Dewa Gol did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Christian Bale 71 minutes into the match. Christian Bale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dewa Gol in the 75th minute of play. After 76 played minutes Botev Plovdiv 1912 got a freekick which was hit by Paul Romeo. With his leg Christian Bale managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Bograngen's Dewa Gol fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Botev Plovdiv 1912's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Dewa Gol scored to the left of an out of position Christian Bale, making the score, 0-5. 86 minutes into the match, Toni Tagarov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gerhart Krainert. Bograngen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toni Tagarov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Di Kun's late challenge caught a Bograngen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Di Kun helped the player get up and apologised. Di Kun hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Dewa Gol took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Christian Bale to make any attempt to save it. Sergiu Cheptene's late challenge caught a Botev Plovdiv 1912's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sergiu Cheptene helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bograngen's Sergiu Cheptene got a free kick in the 95th minute. Gerhart Krainert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Romeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Botev Plovdiv 1912 manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Bograngen to win.
