With a left leg Sören Glanselius saved the Red Devils from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, the Red Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Josef Tunberg came free, but Sören Glanselius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Furkan Erbay took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for 王竞耀 to make any attempt to save it. Alfredo Tab scored 1-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sören Glanselius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sören Glanselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Manuelo in the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, the Red Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Tab came free, but Sören Glanselius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Tab in the 21st minute of play forced the Red Devils's goalkeeper Sören Glanselius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Perico Pérez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Glanselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Manuelo in the 35th minute of play forced the Red Devils's goalkeeper Sören Glanselius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Alfredo Tab had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sören Glanselius. the Red Devils's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Tab was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Sören Glanselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Manuelo in the 41st minute of the match. If Furkan Erbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sören Glanselius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Tab in the 44th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Talleres's Aldo Gonza got a free kick in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Talleres made a substitution. Izydor Bugajski replaced Perico Pérez. Talleres's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
