When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Vladimir de Sena took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Dariusz Kluczyk to make any attempt to save it. Dariusz Kluczyk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baturhan Oytun in the 10th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as PIAUÍ FC's Baturhan Oytun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dariusz Kluczyk. That made the score 4-0 after 15 minutes of play. After 20th play minutes Baturhan Oytun shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Dariusz Kluczyk and just under the crossbar into goal. When Vladimir de Sena came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the PIAUÍ FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimir de Sena couldn't finish the play. Baturhan Oytun struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Dariusz Kluczyk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PIAUÍ FC. Baturhan Oytun in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dariusz Kluczyk, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Vladimir de Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guga Trancoso might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dariusz Kluczyk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guga Trancoso ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 31st minute, Guga Trancoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PIAUÍ FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Baturhan Oytun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dariusz Kluczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baturhan Oytun in the 38th minute of play. Dariusz Kluczyk made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Baturhan Oytun sent off a good shot on target. Dariusz Kluczyk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baturhan Oytun in the 43rd minute. Víktor Santos hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. PIAUÍ FC fully deserved thier win.
