Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) FC Ouagadougou National's William Westelinx started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dalmo Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Westelinx in the 3rd minute of play. Dalmo Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Westelinx, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Jaru-Uaru's Dalmo Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Westelinx in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, William Westelinx cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dalmo Saldanha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 16th minute, William Westelinx left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Ouagadougou National fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With a little luck, FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt got control of the ball when Nicasio Abreu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute William Westelinx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jaru-Uaru's Wincenty Gendolla got a free kick in the 28th minute. FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Abreu in the 32nd minute of play. Dalmo Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Westelinx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmo Saldanha came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Ouagadougou National's William Westelinx. But to his dismay, William Westelinx quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 44 minutes into the match, Koppány Selymes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rene Vereijt, 1-3. After the first half FC Ouagadougou National were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Koppány Selymes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58thth minute of the game William Westelinx who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jaru-Uaru's Dalmo Saldanha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Paolo Evis came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the FC Ouagadougou National fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paolo Evis couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Westelinx in the 63rd minute of play forced Jaru-Uaru's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Ouagadougou National's William Westelinx got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaru-Uaru's Dalmo Saldanha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Jaru-Uaru from getting a goal against them. In the 71st minute Luís Fernando Vides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Vereijt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute Jedrzej Kiszkiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramon Abarca made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Ouagadougou National's Sean Westelinx. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Paolo Evis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jedrzej Kiszkiel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalmo Saldanha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute Nicasio Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Vereijt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rene Vereijt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Abreu in the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Ouagadougou National had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
