The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Zak Tan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexander Navas in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zakir Novruzov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 5th minute of the match, Phillip Mothobi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zakir Novruzov was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Barça Salvadoreño FC's Paradorn Todor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeusz Dziechciowski in the 7th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Barça Salvadoreño FC got a freekick which was hit by Lionel Cäfärov. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Tadeusz Dziechciowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sakura Storm's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeusz Dziechciowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paradorn Todor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Barça Salvadoreño FC booed when Sakura Storm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zsolt Hubina didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Sakura Storm's Napoleon Mleczewski got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 23rd match minute, Sakura Storm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zak Tan to maneuver through the defense. Zakir Novruzov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Di Xi, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute Di Xi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zakir Novruzov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zakir Novruzov made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Maggi Gonzáles sent off a good shot on target. Zakir Novruzov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Phillip Mothobi in the 37th minute. A collision led to Sakura Storm getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Karl-Oskar Odman hit a great ball. With a little luck, Sakura Storm's Zakir Novruzov got control of the ball when You Ang Zhou tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Zak Tan fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sakura Storm's protests and gave Zak Tan a yellow card for diving instead. Zak Tan hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. You Ang Zhou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Zakir Novruzov made a huge save. Zakir Novruzov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Di Xi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexander Navas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Di Xi took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zakir Novruzov. Zakir Novruzov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Zakir Novruzov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maggi Gonzáles, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Sakura Storm's Tadeusz Dziechciowski got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Navas in the 67th minute of play forced Sakura Storm's goalkeeper Zakir Novruzov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sakura Storm's Zakir Novruzov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maggi Gonzáles in the 68th minute of play. Paradorn Todor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeusz Dziechciowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After having played for 74 minutes, You Ang Zhou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barça Salvadoreño FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but You Ang Zhou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Barça Salvadoreño FC booed when Sakura Storm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marvelous Ronaldinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zakir Novruzov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Di Xi in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sakura Storm's Zak Tan got a free kick in the 81st minute. Paradorn Todor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinícius Juniors in the 85th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Alexander Navas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zakir Novruzov was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Alexander Navas scored 2-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zakir Novruzov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Barça Salvadoreño FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
