Mieszko Wielgopolski came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sakura Storm's Tadeusz Dziechciowski. But to his dismay, Tadeusz Dziechciowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mieszko Wielgopolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Dziechciowski in the 7th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Benedykt Siedlecki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zakir Novruzov. Sakura Storm's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedykt Siedlecki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Tadeusz Dziechciowski scored 1-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mieszko Wielgopolski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Tadeusz Dziechciowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Krzysztof Filipowski got free with Zakir Novruzov in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the game, Tolek Juroszek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Wieliczka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sakura Storm the free kick. Tolek Juroszek kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Mieszko Wielgopolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeusz Dziechciowski in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute Sakura Storm were awarded a corner. Marvelous Ronaldinho went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 36th minute, one of FC Wieliczka:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Wieliczka. Mieszko Wielgopolski had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping Anthony Di Loreto's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Zakir Novruzov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krzysztof Filipowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. FC Wieliczka's Fabian Hryc quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Anthony Di Loreto, made in the 46th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tadeusz Dziechciowski to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes FC Wieliczka got a freekick which was hit by Mariusz Solarek. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeusz Dziechciowski in the 57th minute of play forced FC Wieliczka's goalkeeper Mieszko Wielgopolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mieszko Wielgopolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Dziechciowski in the 58th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Sakura Storm defense, Benedykt Siedlecki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zakir Novruzov. The Sakura Storm fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zakir Novruzov should have stopped the shot. 66 minutes into the game, Krzysztof Filipowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Zakir Novruzov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Wieliczka's Mieszko Wielgopolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeusz Dziechciowski in the 69th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tadeusz Dziechciowski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mieszko Wielgopolski. That made the score 3-3 in the 74 minute of play. Mieszko Wielgopolski made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Vinícius Juniors sent off a good shot on target. Mieszko Wielgopolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeusz Dziechciowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute, Zsolt Hubina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Wieliczka were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
