Hernán Torrejón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to SiTomanBoy´s getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Cassiano Novais hit a great ball. Richard Mendes didn't quite understand what happened when in the 9 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 11thth minute of the game Hernán Torrejón who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SE Palestra Itália's Tony Chaves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristóvão Madureira got free with James Novak in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. James Novak made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Cristóvão Madureira sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clayton Sergi in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg James Novak saved SiTomanBoy´s from getting behind. James Novak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Dias in the 17th minute of play. Tony Chaves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hernán Torrejón went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Luiz Fabiano Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. James Novak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of SiTomanBoy´s booed when SE Palestra Itália was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Augusto Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. James Novak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clayton Sergi, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When SiTomanBoy´s's Hernán Torrejón in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SE Palestra Itália's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, SE Palestra Itália's Carlos Augusto Neto got a free kick in the 29th minute. After some careless play in the SE Palestra Itália defense, Hernán Torrejón kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tony Chaves. The SE Palestra Itália fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tony Chaves should have stopped the shot. When Hernán Torrejón came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the SiTomanBoy´s fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernán Torrejón couldn't finish the play. Tony Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernán Torrejón, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SE Palestra Itália's goalkeeper Tony Chaves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 42 minutes into the game, SiTomanBoy´s's Hernán Torrejón nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tony Chaves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Tony Chaves came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by SiTomanBoy´s's Hernán Torrejón. But to his dismay, Hernán Torrejón quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clayton Sergi to strike the kick off in the second half. Tony Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernán Torrejón in the 51st minute of the match. After 59 minutes, Cristóvão Madureira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SE Palestra Itália and the SiTomanBoy´s players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristóvão Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Hernán Torrejón received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SiTomanBoy´s's zone, Acar Buğrahan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. James Novak came out of the goal and Acar Buğrahan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SiTomanBoy´s made a substitution. Jorge Montt replaced Wladyslaw Maciejewski. SiTomanBoy´s's Anastasio Barticciotto was substituted for Saul Gomesano. After having played for 71 minutes, Simón Babarovic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SiTomanBoy´s's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simón Babarovic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Toninho Guerreiro scored 0-5 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tony Chaves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SiTomanBoy´s's James Novak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Mendes in the 86th minute of play. Toninho Guerreiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tony Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho Guerreiro in the 92nd minute of play. When the final whistle sounded SiTomanBoy´s left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SE Palestra Itália.
