After 5 minutes, Huang Zhen Bo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Retorno de Palermo and the Nychyporivka Ψ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes El Retorno de Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Huang Zhen Bo. 6 minutes into the match, Nychyporivka Ψ's Lucas Matos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerom Quvelirs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lucas Matos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerom Quvelirs read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Matos came free, but Jerom Quvelirs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benicio Osasun during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to El Retorno de Palermo getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Benicio Osasun hit a great ball. Nychyporivka Ψ's attentive Andréas Fransson managed to snatch the ball when Leonides Nayely made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. Jerom Quvelirs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Matos in the 17th minute of play. When Lucas Matos came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Nychyporivka Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Matos couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in El Retorno de Palermo's zone, Leonid Bykovets stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerom Quvelirs came out of the goal and Leonid Bykovets tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonides Nayely kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Jerom Quvelirs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Matos in the 31st minute of the match. Dan Junilă didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zygmunt Malik went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Jerom Quvelirs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Matos in the 38th minute of play. Nychyporivka Ψ's Dan Junilă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Malik in the 40th minute of play. When Lucas Matos came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Nychyporivka Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Matos couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Nychyporivka Ψ's Dan Junilă got control of the ball when Benicio Osasun tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th match minute, El Retorno de Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Nayely to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Benicio Osasun made the kick off in the second half. Dan Junilă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zygmunt Malik's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. After a rather tough play, Nychyporivka Ψ's Andréas Fransson got a free kick in the 60th minute. 69 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's goalkeeper Jerom Quvelirs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Matos. Nychyporivka Ψ's Dan Junilă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benicio Osasun in the 70th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Matos in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerom Quvelirs saved El Retorno de Palermo from getting behind. Lucas Matos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jerom Quvelirs having to make a save. Jerom Quvelirs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Matos in the 80th minute of the match. Dan Junilă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Malik in the 81st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in El Retorno de Palermo's zone, Lucas Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerom Quvelirs came out of the goal and Lucas Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dan Junilă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Malik, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute Lucas Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerom Quvelirs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Lucas Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nychyporivka Ψ's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Matos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerom Quvelirs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jerom Quvelirs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Lucas Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerom Quvelirs made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Lucas Matos sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nychyporivka Ψ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for El Retorno de Palermo.
