Duarte de Sena made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Virginijus Balčaitis sent off a good shot on target. Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Duarte de Sena could save by the left post. In the 29th minute of the match, Algitas Girkantas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Duarte de Sena saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Bernardo Salbatore in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Absoliut's goalie prevented a goal. Robertas Sabaitis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Arne Nord in the 36th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Algitas Girkantas got free with Duarte de Sena in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Duarte de Sena when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 42nd minute Bernardo Salbatore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robertas Sabaitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Salbatore took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robertas Sabaitis. Robertas Sabaitis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu was the one to do the kick off. Duarte de Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Algitas Girkantas in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Ituzaingó's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu came free, but Duarte de Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duarte de Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agatas Didžiulis in the 57th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Paolo Marino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Robertas Sabaitis. Paolo Marino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Absoliut made a substitution. Henrikas Stulpinas replaced Jerzy Frankowski. Stig-Arne Nord received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Robertas Sabaitis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Duarte de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Algitas Girkantas in the 73rd minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Paolo Marino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Robertas Sabaitis. The goal made the score 0-4. If Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Ituzaingó's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldas Nutautas came free, but Duarte de Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duarte de Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atlético Ituzaingó's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
