In the 6th minute, Alejandro Garnacho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan Oblak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stig-Arne Nord went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Salbatore in the 10th minute of play forced UNITED's goalkeeper Jan Oblak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Oblak didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Bernardo Salbatore shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stig-Arne Nord to make the kick off.
