Gregoire Decorte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kalle Backman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Koffe Boys's goalkeeper Kalle Backman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Gregoire Decorte notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Koffe Boys's Kalle Backman. Kalle Backman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Koffe Boys's goalkeeper Kalle Backman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 50th match minute, Koffe Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casper Ekegren to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gregoire Decorte in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kalle Backman saved Koffe Boys from getting behind. Gregoire Decorte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Kalle Backman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Basilio De Pablo fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Koffe Boys's protests and gave Basilio De Pablo a yellow card for diving instead. Gregoire Decorte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kalle Backman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Koffe Boys's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
