Melvin Passemard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Georg Godholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thibaut Bernadet in the 9th minute of play. If Tobias Siggman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, FC Shifen III's goal looked a bit too open when Thibaut Bernadet came free, but Georg Godholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Jacinto Cesario sped through corsaire nantais's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Melvin Passemard. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacinto Cesario stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 93rd minute, Yves Fuchs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Shifen III fully deserved thier win.
