Diego von Moos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Levandovskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaston Ixona got free with Ladislav Telepovský in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaston Ixona kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ladislav Telepovský. That made the score 2-0 in the 42 minute of play. If Gaston Ixona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juvenal dos Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Santiago Oliverio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grêmio Santo André and the Ofensywni Massen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Santiago Oliverio hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeferson Santana during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. For all the effort they put into the match, the Grêmio Santo André players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ofensywni Massen.
