Miroslaw Kochanowski made in the 4th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Aleksander Zgonina however managed to control. When Ömer Halisdemir came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Zawisza Bydgoszcz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ömer Halisdemir couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute, Ömer Halisdemir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florian Czapski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Bialski Bastion Legii's Hieronim Pruss in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goalie prevented a goal. In the 18th match minute, Zawisza Bydgoszcz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mack Oreilly to maneuver through the defense. Aleksander Zgonina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Kajetan Dec made a huge save. In the 23rd minute, Orestas Ancikas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper Kajetan Dec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aleksander Zgonina. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ömer Halisdemir in the 30th minute of play forced Bialski Bastion Legii's goalkeeper Florian Czapski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bialski Bastion Legii's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Karl-Åke Lindström was slow to take the kick. During this time Zawisza Bydgoszcz's players had a chance to rest. Karl-Åke Lindström made a great header on Zawisza Bydgoszcz's corner, it was just that Bialski Bastion Legii's Florian Czapski managed to reach the ball for a save. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Ömer Halisdemir got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the game, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Ömer Halisdemir nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florian Czapski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ömer Halisdemir in the 47th minute of play. The Bialski Bastion Legii players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zawisza Bydgoszcz were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ömer Halisdemir made a kick off. After taking down the ball on Zawisza Bydgoszcz's corner Karl-Åke Lindström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Florian Czapski quite easily take care of the ball. In the 56th minute, Ömer Halisdemir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Bialski Bastion Legii getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Iwo Redisz hit a great ball. Sebastian Klawke hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orestas Ancikas during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Miroslaw Kochanowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kajetan Dec. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Mack Oreilly came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Zawisza Bydgoszcz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mack Oreilly couldn't finish the play. In the 69th match minute, Bialski Bastion Legii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iwo Redisz to maneuver through the defense. Boruc Marek kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Åke Lindström in the 73rd minute of play forced Bialski Bastion Legii's goalkeeper Florian Czapski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kajetan Dec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hieronim Pruss, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Michal Walicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Klawke kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Kajetan Dec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kajetan Solecki in the 84th minute of play. Kajetan Dec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kajetan Solecki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aleksander Zgonina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ömer Halisdemir in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florian Czapski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle went the supporters of Zawisza Bydgoszcz were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Bialski Bastion Legii side.
