In the 15th minute Jarl Sjöö shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panait Frânculescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute Telge77 were awarded a corner. Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret went to the cornerflag to take it. Joakim Hökkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionuț Jităreanu in the 18th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Inge Askelöf notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Telge77's Joakim Hökkvist. Joakim Hökkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gert Örtendahl let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 21st minute shot 2-1 at rihgt post. After a defensive mix-up in Telge77's zone, Dănuț Roman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joakim Hökkvist came out of the goal and Dănuț Roman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Örtendahl came free, but Panait Frânculescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Dănuț Roman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Hökkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joakim Hökkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionuț Jităreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inge Askelöf in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joakim Hökkvist saved Telge77 from getting behind. 45 minutes into the match, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Örtendahl came free, but Panait Frânculescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Telge77 made a substitution. Patrick Martinsson replaced Adam Jelm. -BZF- Valea Buzăului made a substitution. Virgil Mincu replaced Inge Askelöf. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Virgil Mincu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Telge77's Joakim Hökkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Telge77 from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionuț Jităreanu in the 62nd minute of play forced Telge77's goalkeeper Joakim Hökkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Billy Rydberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Cărtărescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the -BZF- Valea Buzăului defense, Patrick Martinsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Panait Frânculescu. The -BZF- Valea Buzăului fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Panait Frânculescu should have stopped the shot. Telge77's Jonas Tunander was substituted for Jim Sjögren. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Virgil Mincu managed to work through Telge77's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Virgil Mincu dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Telge77 made a substitution. Herman Lagerberg replaced Jarl Sjöö. Panait Frânculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91stth minute of the game Gert Örtendahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Panait Frânculescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Telge77's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
