An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddy Laporte in the 11th minute of play forced meteora 1929's goalkeeper Soulis Vamvakousis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, KFC Vliegplein's goalkeeper Teo De Jonge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clinton Eastwood. After 14 played minutes KFC Vliegplein got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Oskitz. In the 90th minute of the match KFC Vliegplein got a corner. meteora 1929's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Endel Darmer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Endel Darmer made a great header on KFC Vliegplein's corner, it was just that meteora 1929's Soulis Vamvakousis managed to reach the ball for a save. 93 minutes into the game, Eddy Laporte recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Soulis Vamvakousis. Eddy Laporte showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Although meteora 1929 had been in control for most of the match, KFC Vliegplein still came away with the win.
