Amund Villarreal started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute Tiberiu Caramarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wang Peng Zhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arda Baybars Oğuzalp hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Six Pac FC's Janne Krut managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alex Balotă in the 19 minute of the game. Amund Villarreal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. MIT's Calistrat Madgearu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amund Villarreal in the 20th minute of play. Calistrat Madgearu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amund Villarreal went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Tiberiu Caramarin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wang Peng Zhi having to interfere. After some careless play in the Six Pac FC defense, Tiberiu Caramarin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wang Peng Zhi. The Six Pac FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wang Peng Zhi should have stopped the shot. A collision led to MIT getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Radu Sărăroiu hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Six Pac FC's Amund Villarreal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Calistrat Madgearu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Alex Balotă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Six Pac FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dorin Banu came free, but Wang Peng Zhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

With a little luck, Six Pac FC's Wang Peng Zhi got control of the ball when Tiberiu Caramarin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alejandro Lizer hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Tiberiu Caramarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tiberiu Caramarin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Wang Peng Zhi made a huge save. Amund Villarreal might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Calistrat Madgearu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amund Villarreal ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Amund Villarreal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Calistrat Madgearu was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Calistrat Madgearu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amund Villarreal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amund Villarreal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Calistrat Madgearu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. MIT made a substitution. Bogdan Bucataru replaced Mihăiţă Ilarie. A sloppy throw-in by Alex Balotă in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Six Pac FC's Alejandro Lizer. Tiberiu Caramarin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wang Peng Zhi came out and tried to block the shot, but Tiberiu Caramarin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 82nd minute. Wang Peng Zhi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Tunander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wang Peng Zhi made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when David Tunander sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. MIT had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
