Defensores de Mar de Ajó's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Feliberto Pueblo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Feliberto Pueblo made a great header on Cardo Ruso Cordobés's corner, it was just that Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Kleopas Plouffe managed to reach the ball for a save. After 22 played minutes Cardo Ruso Cordobés got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Panpili. In the 23rd minute Gogo Elequemedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Falcioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Franky Dhondt got free with Kleopas Plouffe in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Elequemedo in the 35th minute of play forced Cardo Ruso Cordobés's goalkeeper Julio Falcioni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Galsino hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Kleopas Plouffe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franky Dhondt in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Franky Dhondt to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Franky Dhondt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kleopas Plouffe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Bennvar Back's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kleopas Plouffe was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. After 86 minutes Defensores de Mar de Ajó's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Albino Millano who took care of the corner kick. Baransel Nezih's late challenge caught a Cardo Ruso Cordobés's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baransel Nezih helped the player get up and apologised. Baransel Nezih hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Kleopas Plouffe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bennvar Back in the 95th minute of play.
