Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Stig-Ove Axelsson made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in ViHörs's zone, Cazimir Feteanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Börge Isaksson came out of the goal and Cazimir Feteanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mădălin Lipan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Börge Isaksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, ViHörs's goalkeeper Börge Isaksson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mădălin Lipan. After 22 minutes of play, Carpathians's Mădălin Lipan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Börge Isaksson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teobald Karanewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Börge Isaksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Jakobsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Călin Ghioncu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to ViHörs getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Ivar Berg hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Stig-Ove Axelsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ViHörs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Troizen Giannakopoulos hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teobald Karanewski to strike the kick off in the second half. If Mădălin Lipan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the ViHörs defense, Teobald Karanewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Börge Isaksson. The ViHörs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Börge Isaksson should have stopped the shot. In the 55th minute, one of Carpathians:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Carpathians. When the match had been going on for 57 minutes, ViHörs's Stig-Ove Axelsson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Călin Ghioncu. Teobald Karanewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Ivar Berg in the 69th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Carpathians's Cazimir Feteanu. Călin Ghioncu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Erik Bergqvist in the 72nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in ViHörs's zone, Ceferino Erroman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Börge Isaksson came out of the goal and Ceferino Erroman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carpathians's Stelian Bălășescu was substituted for Troizen Giannakopoulos. Carpathians made a substitution. Gheorghe Ciurea replaced Teobald Karanewski. ViHörs's Börge Isaksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gheorghe Ciurea in the 81st minute of play. Gheorghe Ciurea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 83 minutes into the match, ViHörs's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Ciurea came free, but Börge Isaksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Börge Isaksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mădălin Lipan in the 95th minute of play. After 98 minutes of play, Carpathians's Gheorghe Ciurea made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Börge Isaksson was left in no man's land by his defense there!
