Hélio O'Connell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Elequemedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Felice Taccos short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Lucas Dionísio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hélio O'Connell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Izel in the 12th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Maritek FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Mariani. A collision led to FC Tó Madeira getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Hélder Nogueira hit a great ball. In the 24th minute Ferruccio Zarillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Tó Madeira's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ferruccio Zarillo 34 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 37 minutes into the match, FC Tó Madeira's goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Santo came free, but Lucas Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filippo Lucente made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Tó Madeira's Hélio Igrejas. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ettore Santo sped through FC Tó Madeira's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucas Dionísio. Lucas Dionísio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ettore Santo in the 46th minute. After 47 minutes FC Tó Madeira's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andrea Mariani who took care of the corner kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niceto Izel was the one to do the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Niceto Izel in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Maritek FC's Jon Snow. In the 54th minute Ettore Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, FC Tó Madeira's goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Santo came free, but Lucas Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute of the match Andrea Mariani sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucas Dionísio skillfully saved the ball. Lucas Dionísio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 67 minutes into the game, Ettore Santo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Lucas Dionísio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Tó Madeira's Lucas Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferruccio Zarillo in the 70th minute of play. Lucas Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ettore Santo in the 74th minute of the match. Lucas Dionísio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute Tomás Moita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th match minute, FC Tó Madeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinaldo Borba to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Dionísio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Maritek FC fully deserved thier win.
