Oden Vandamme scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orvar Bäckström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Orvar Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartosz Niemojewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, Basavilbaso FC's Raimundo Marquez got a free kick in the 11th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Bartosz Niemojewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bears are Back's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartosz Niemojewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orvar Bäckström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orvar Bäckström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Korneliusz Tokarczyk in the 20th minute of play forced Basavilbaso FC's goalkeeper Orvar Bäckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krzysztof Lodowy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clemente Rubio in the 22nd minute. Orvar Bäckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartosz Niemojewski in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Basavilbaso FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Korneliusz Tokarczyk was slow to take the kick. During this time Bears are Back's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Basavilbaso FC's goalie and right to Bartosz Niemojewski. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Basavilbaso FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Orvar Bäckström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Korneliusz Tokarczyk in the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Basavilbaso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oden Vandamme came free, but Orvar Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartosz Niemojewski in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orvar Bäckström saved Basavilbaso FC from getting behind. After 31 minutes of play, Bears are Back's Korneliusz Tokarczyk made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orvar Bäckström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Basavilbaso FC's Orvar Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartosz Niemojewski in the 35th minute of play. Raimundo Marquez hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Bears are Back's Daffa Sopandi got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After 44 played minutes Bears are Back got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Michael Ersman. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henric Springfält got free with Krzysztof Lodowy in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Krzysztof Lodowy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clemente Rubio went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The Basavilbaso FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bears are Back were winning 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bartosz Niemojewski made a kick off. After 55 minutes, Clemente Rubio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Basavilbaso FC and the Bears are Back players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bears are Back booed when Basavilbaso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute Bartosz Niemojewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orvar Bäckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 57 in the game by Bartosz Niemojewski from a close distance when the talented Orvar Bäckström managed to make a qualified save. Basavilbaso FC's players were relieved. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Oden Vandamme took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Orvar Bäckström to make any attempt to save it. In the 64th match minute, Basavilbaso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henric Springfält to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute Henric Springfält shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krzysztof Lodowy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Basavilbaso FC's Orvar Bäckström got control of the ball when Oden Vandamme tried to sneak it across the goal line. Orvar Bäckström stood somewhat misplaced when Oden Vandamme came free in front of goal and shot 1-5 to the left of him in the 73 minute. Orvar Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartosz Niemojewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 76th minute Bartosz Niemojewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orvar Bäckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogério Baptista lost his temper 78 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Oden Vandamme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bartosz Niemojewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Orvar Bäckström made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartosz Niemojewski in the 89th minute of play forced Basavilbaso FC's goalkeeper Orvar Bäckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clemente Rubio took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Krzysztof Lodowy. Krzysztof Lodowy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-5.
