Väderstad FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niceto Izel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niceto Izel in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olle Mellberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edvin Holmgren scored 2-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucas Dionísio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 minutes into the match, Väderstad FK's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Izel came free, but Olle Mellberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Dionísio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Östen Forsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Izel in the 33rd minute of play forced Väderstad FK's goalkeeper Olle Mellberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Einar Westerberg in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Dionísio saved FC Tó Madeira from getting behind. In the 39th minute FC Tó Madeira were awarded a corner. Hélder Nogueira went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Hélder Nogueira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Väderstad FK's Olle Mellberg did a great save. Olle Mellberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Izel in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Izel in the 44th minute of play forced Väderstad FK's goalkeeper Olle Mellberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Östen Forsberg's late challenge caught a FC Tó Madeira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Östen Forsberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th minute, Östen Forsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edvin Holmgren made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Einar Westerberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edvin Holmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Dionísio having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, Väderstad FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Östen Forsberg to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Niceto Izel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olle Mellberg was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 60th minute, Edvin Holmgren made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Dionísio. FC Tó Madeira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After some careless play in the FC Tó Madeira defense, Edvin Holmgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Dionísio. Olle Mellberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niceto Izel's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. After 81 played minutes FC Tó Madeira got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Nogueira. After a defensive mix-up in FC Tó Madeira's zone, Joacim Melin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Dionísio came out of the goal and Joacim Melin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Marcelo Brito fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Tó Madeira's protests and gave Marcelo Brito a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of FC Tó Madeira:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Väderstad FK:s goal. In the 85th minute there was a penalty for Väderstad FK. Joacim Melin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lucas Dionísio. 5-1. Lucas Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvin Holmgren in the 88th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes FC Tó Madeira got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Nogueira. Väderstad FK's Olle Mellberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Väderstad FK from getting a goal against them. Väderstad FK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
