The referee ignored PX33 United's protests and gave Barnaba Gregorczyk a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Newcastle United FC booed when PX33 United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnaba Gregorczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otto Hermansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wlodzimierz Ruszkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, PX33 United's Wojciech Walczyk got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 41st minute Edmund Knopek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otto Hermansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes Newcastle United FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wojciech Walczyk who took care of the corner kick. Marko Gustavsson charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marko Gustavsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 48 played minutes Newcastle United FC got a freekick which was hit by Marko Gustavsson. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wlodzimierz Ruszkowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Claes Ahlroht took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leandro Ostargi. Despite this Leandro Ostargi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Otto Hermansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Zuraw in the 74th minute of play. Otto Hermansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Knopek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 played minutes PX33 United got a freekick which was hit by Marcin Kochowski. Leandro Ostargi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florian Liermann in the 81st minute. Leandro Ostargi made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Lars Olofsson sent off a good shot on target. Otto Hermansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Zuraw in the 84th minute of the match. Marcin Kochowski hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Nichifor Crivoi's late challenge caught a PX33 United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nichifor Crivoi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Newcastle United FC's Nichifor Crivoi got a free kick in the 90th minute. When Wojciech Walczyk came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the PX33 United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wojciech Walczyk couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Wojciech Kowalczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot. PX33 United's supporters rose to their feet, but Wojciech Kowalczyk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otto Hermansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
