Luiz Fernando Mota took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mustafa Kemal. Mustafa Kemal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Arūnas Pukelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilmer Gallo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigitas Jakubauskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dursun Soysal charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dursun Soysal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FK Mintis Vilnius getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Dursun Soysal hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Tomas Danilevičius made a precise shot to the right of Wilmer Gallo. Retumbante FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After some careless play in the Retumbante FC defense, Sigitas Jakubauskas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilmer Gallo. The Retumbante FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilmer Gallo should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as İsrafil Yağız kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilmer Gallo. That made the score 3-1 in the 37 minute of play. Sigitas Jakubauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Wilmer Gallo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Décio Antonio notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of FK Mintis Vilnius's Mustafa Kemal. Mustafa Kemal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The wind increased when Décio Antonio made the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Retumbante FC got a freekick which was hit by Frank Gonçalves. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Danilevičius in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilmer Gallo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kęstutis Latoža sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mustafa Kemal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabinho Bittencourt in the 58th minute. Wilmer Gallo came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Mintis Vilnius's Kęstutis Latoža. But to his dismay, Kęstutis Latoža quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Wilmer Gallo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sigitas Jakubauskas went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Wilmer Gallo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Danilevičius in the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Danilevičius in the 77th minute of play forced Retumbante FC's goalkeeper Wilmer Gallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Retumbante FC's Wilmer Gallo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Danilevičius in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute Tomas Danilevičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilmer Gallo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Belmiro Mello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mustafa Kemal was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by İsrafil Yağız in the 92nd minute of play forced Retumbante FC's goalkeeper Wilmer Gallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mustafa Kemal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Décio Antonio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilmer Gallo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İsrafil Yağız, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
