An unexpectedly hard shot by Belmiro Mello in the 5th minute of play forced Young Ostend United's goalkeeper Stanny Van Gorp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frankie Koval during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Frankie Koval kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Jason Asselberghs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Retumbante FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Eurico Galvão hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Manuel Roukeloes fired a really elegant long shot, but Wilmer Gallo threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Stanny Van Gorp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauã Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute Kauã Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanny Van Gorp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanny Van Gorp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belmiro Mello in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauã Mandrak in the 20th minute of play forced Young Ostend United's goalkeeper Stanny Van Gorp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kauã Mandrak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stanny Van Gorp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Retumbante FC's Kauã Mandrak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stanny Van Gorp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 31st minute Belmiro Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanny Van Gorp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanny Van Gorp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauã Mandrak in the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Kauã Mandrak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Stanny Van Gorp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leontin Vârșan in the 39th minute of play forced Retumbante FC's goalkeeper Wilmer Gallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stanny Van Gorp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belmiro Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Décio Antonio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Stanny Van Gorp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Belmiro Mello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romário Molina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Naldo Sabóia made in the 47th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luiz Fernando Mota however managed to control. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kauã Mandrak made a kick off. If Kauã Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belmiro Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Stanny Van Gorp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Décio Antonio kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Stanny Van Gorp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Décio Antonio in the 60th minute of the match. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 65 minutes into the match, Retumbante FC's Belmiro Mello sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stanny Van Gorp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stanny Van Gorp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabinho Bittencourt in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauã Mandrak in the 75th minute of play forced Young Ostend United's goalkeeper Stanny Van Gorp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kauã Mandrak came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Retumbante FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kauã Mandrak couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute 秦昂平 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilmer Gallo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match, Décio Antonio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Stanny Van Gorp saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Décio Antonio took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stanny Van Gorp. Stanny Van Gorp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Thanks to some nice moves Belmiro Mello could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Stanny Van Gorp however easily saved by the left post. If Romário Molina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leontin Vârșan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Romário Molina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilmer Gallo was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. When the match was over Retumbante FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Young Ostend United throughout the match.
