The PAOK B fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cecilio Ortle should have stopped the shot. Stelios Philipidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thibaut Courtois having to interfere. A collision led to GUSESI getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Nemesio Lobo hit a great ball. A long shot from Egemen Emek in the 41st minute of play was well struck, but Thibaut Courtois made a really good save at the right post. Thibaut Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filippos Stathopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thibaut Courtois didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Egemen Emek went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Ovidio Favila made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Ovidio Favila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Ortle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Favila in the 52nd minute of play forced PAOK B's goalkeeper Cecilio Ortle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cecilio Ortle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Favila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led GUSESI's Basri Tanyeli to fire away a dangerous shot which Cecilio Ortle despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 89th minute, Ovidio Favila reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cecilio Ortle. The goal made the score 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Tonete in the 93rd minute of play forced PAOK B's goalkeeper Cecilio Ortle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thibaut Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Parisis, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
