With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabinho dos Santos in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dawid Bucyki saved PTB Football Club from getting behind. 20 minutes into the match, Club Athletico Paulistano's Fabinho dos Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dawid Bucyki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Club Athletico Paulistano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Agnaldo Mattos in the 22nd minute. Club Athletico Paulistano's Agnaldo Mattos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dawid Bucyki in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, PTB Football Club's Olgierd Jakubiak got a free kick in the 30th minute. Dawid Bucyki made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Fabinho dos Santos sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordan Mijatović in the 33rd minute of play forced Club Athletico Paulistano's goalkeeper Acácio Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Acácio Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demetrio Cannata in the 36th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, Demetrio Cannata cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. The corner ended in Agnaldo Mattos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but PTB Football Club's Dawid Bucyki did a great save. Acácio Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demetrio Cannata, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
