The supporters of Club Athletico Paulistano booed when Brooklyn SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Potra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jospeh McNally showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabinho dos Santos in the 7th minute of the match. Jospeh McNally made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafinha Trancoso in the 11th minute of play. Dwight Schrute received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Acácio Lara came out and tried to block the shot, but Dwight Schrute slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabinho dos Santos came free, but Jospeh McNally reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Acácio Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dwight Schrute, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 26 minutes of play, Club Athletico Paulistano's Fabinho dos Santos made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jospeh McNally was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabinho dos Santos in the 29th minute of play forced Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Jospeh McNally to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabinho dos Santos in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jospeh McNally prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute Fabinho dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jospeh McNally saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jospeh McNally took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabinho dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Acácio Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Cole in the 40th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabinho dos Santos was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Vinicio Millan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th match minute, Club Athletico Paulistano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto-Carlos Håland to maneuver through the defense. Acácio Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Beard in the 59th minute of the match. 59 minutes in the game, Gerardo Beard dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Brooklyn SC's Elliot Whitley quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Haakon Brøndsel, made in the 61st minute of the game. Acácio Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliot Whitley in the 65th minute of the match. Brooklyn SC's Jospeh McNally played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafinha Trancoso in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dwight Schrute in the 70th minute of play forced Club Athletico Paulistano's goalkeeper Acácio Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Cole recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brooklyn SC's Anderson Donatello was substituted for Greg Giraldo. Acácio Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Beard in the 74th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabinho dos Santos got free with Jospeh McNally in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Dwight Schrute put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Acácio Lara. Acácio Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráuzio Barral in the 81st minute of play. Jospeh McNally made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Fabinho dos Santos sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the game, Haakon Brøndsel threw the ball into play from the sideline. Brooklyn SC's Stacy McDonough quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Acácio Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliot Whitley in the 85th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Jospeh McNally had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabinho dos Santos. 88 minutes into the game, Dráuzio Barral cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Acácio Lara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
