The Deportivo Peñarol FIFV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petru Nisporeanu should have stopped the shot. In the 19th minute, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Oriche Ruelas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aleksander Lindholm in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petru Nisporeanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aleksander Lindholm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Galen Fågel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oriche Ruelas in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauricio Guadalupe in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Galen Fågel saved Hemse RK from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oriche Ruelas in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Galen Fågel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Galen Fågel was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Mauricio Guadalupe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mauricio Guadalupe really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Hemse RK's Lirian Andonovski was substituted for Andy Cane. Hemse RK made a substitution. Fredrik Klack replaced Eddie Larsson. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aleksander Lindholm to make the kick off. Aleksander Lindholm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petru Nisporeanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Hemse RK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Hägert in the 54th minute. Tomas Hägert made a great header on Hemse RK's corner, it was just that Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Petru Nisporeanu managed to reach the ball for a save. Fredrik Klack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petru Nisporeanu having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Cortez Morera got a free kick in the 59th minute. Galen Fågel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oriche Ruelas, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Örjan Forssell in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Galen Fågel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Örjan Forssell sped through Hemse RK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Galen Fågel. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Luo Cheng was substituted for Cortez Morera. Galen Fågel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Guadalupe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 played minutes Deportivo Peñarol FIFV got a freekick which was hit by Blai Bacardi. Hemse RK made a substitution. Robin Ahlroth replaced Frans Smedfeldt. The supporters of Hemse RK booed when Deportivo Peñarol FIFV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blai Bacardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Petru Nisporeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksander Lindholm in the 82nd minute of play. Galen Fågel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liu Yan Yan in the 84th minute of the match. When Llope Ojeda fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's protests and gave Llope Ojeda a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hemse RK booed when Deportivo Peñarol FIFV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Llope Ojeda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Aleksander Lindholm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hemse RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksander Lindholm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Llope Ojeda kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV had won after a very even match.
