The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver-James Gol got free with Folke Bure in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 12 minutes of play, Someliéri's Oliver-James Gol made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Folke Bure was left in no man's land by his defense there! Folke Bure was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Giotis Michailidis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 15 minute of play. North Pole Kickers's Folke Bure proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save North Pole Kickers from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the game, Oliver-James Gol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Folke Bure was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Folke Bure made an important save on a dangerous shot by Argi Villar in the 26th minute. Folke Bure was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Giotis Michailidis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Giotis Michailidis really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Ladislav Chmelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nisse Jul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nisse Jul in the 41st minute of play forced Someliéri's goalkeeper Edvin van der Saar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edvin van der Saar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nisse Jul, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Folke Bure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Laurendi in the 64th minute of play. Folke Bure showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver-James Gol in the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Oliver-James Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Bure saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Folke Bure took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giotis Michailidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iosif Golescu hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. North Pole Kickers made a substitution. Anders Byström replaced Pere Noel. In the 75th minute Giotis Michailidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Bure saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was beautiful to see Someliéri's Wilfried Heirpoel in action when he in the 84th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance!
