Ariel Gustau came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Æsir Ásgarðr's Natalio Favila. But to his dismay, Natalio Favila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Legio X Eqvestris's goal looked a bit too open when Álfgeir Hannibalsson came free, but Ariel Gustau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mustafa Arif Devrim made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Luis Navarro sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álfgeir Hannibalsson in the 15th minute of play forced Legio X Eqvestris's goalkeeper Ariel Gustau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Æsir Ásgarðr's Natalio Favila sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ariel Gustau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mustafa Arif Devrim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Paradela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 played minutes Legio X Eqvestris got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Florin. In the 27th minute, Kristján Ófeigsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute Natalio Favila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Gustau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustin Quinten made in the 36th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luis Navarro. In the 37th minute Luis Navarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Arif Devrim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Favila in the 39th minute of play forced Legio X Eqvestris's goalkeeper Ariel Gustau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Florin hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Legio X Eqvestris's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Favila came free, but Ariel Gustau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Legio X Eqvestris's Ariel Gustau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Favila in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 played minutes Æsir Ásgarðr got a freekick which was hit by Kristall Guðjónsson. After a defensive mix-up in Legio X Eqvestris's zone, Kristján Ófeigsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Gustau came out of the goal and Kristján Ófeigsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Favila in the 63rd minute of play forced Legio X Eqvestris's goalkeeper Ariel Gustau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mustafa Arif Devrim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Álfgeir Hannibalsson got free with Ariel Gustau in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Æsir Ásgarðr's goalkeeper Mustafa Arif Devrim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Æsir Ásgarðr defense, José Paradela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mustafa Arif Devrim. The Æsir Ásgarðr fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mustafa Arif Devrim should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Navarro in the 83rd minute of play forced Æsir Ásgarðr's goalkeeper Mustafa Arif Devrim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Legio X Eqvestris's Ariel Gustau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Favila in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Legio X Eqvestris's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Przemyslaw Plachetka was slow to take the kick. During this time Æsir Ásgarðr's players had a chance to rest. Álfgeir Hannibalsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Ariel Gustau made a huge save. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
