The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Giancola in the 3rd minute of play forced Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalkeeper Luis Galarza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jair Reinoso succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 4th playminute. After 7 played minutes Kalatakaya F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Vali Romoşan. Corrado Contestabile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Recep Guftar in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Hyblae FC's goal looked a bit too open when Helmut Gutiérrez came free, but Corrado Contestabile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrea Pasciu hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Recep Guftar in the 13th minute of play forced Hyblae FC's goalkeeper Corrado Contestabile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jair Reinoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corrado Contestabile having to interfere. In the 20th minute of the match, Benito Lluterio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Corrado Contestabile was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Corrado Contestabile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Lluterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hyblae FC's Corrado Contestabile proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Hyblae FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Hyblae FC's Corrado Contestabile got control of the ball when Benito Lluterio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Corrado Contestabile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jair Reinoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Kalatakaya F.C.'s Corrado Contestabile threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benito Lluterio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jair Reinoso charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jair Reinoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th match minute, Kalatakaya F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jair Reinoso to maneuver through the defense. Recep Guftar had several of the Hyblae FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 44 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Corrado Contestabile as he didn't even see the shot coming. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benito Lluterio to strike the kick off in the second half. Corrado Contestabile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Recep Guftar, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Hyblae FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jair Reinoso came free, but Corrado Contestabile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Jair Reinoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kalatakaya F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jair Reinoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corrado Contestabile breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Corrado Contestabile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Kovačić, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Corrado Contestabile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jair Reinoso in the 59th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Benito Lluterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corrado Contestabile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kalatakaya F.C.'s Benito Lluterio got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Vali Romoşan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Darien Tebar made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Kalatakaya F.C.'s Tonete Abaurre. Hyblae FC's Corrado Contestabile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Lluterio in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hyblae FC's goalkeeper Corrado Contestabile, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Eigirdas Burnickas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luis Galarza was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. 79 minutes into the match, Hyblae FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Lluterio came free, but Corrado Contestabile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corrado Contestabile didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benito Lluterio went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The Kalatakaya F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Kalatakaya F.C.'s Recep Guftar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 93rd minute Recep Guftar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corrado Contestabile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
