Gordon Horgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wictor Tinglöv in the 17th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, COPERNICUS TORUŃ's goal looked a bit too open when Ingmar Bergman came free, but Gordon Horgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brion Murphy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Gordon Horgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingmar Bergman in the 29th minute of play. Ingmar Bergman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Gordon Horgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 《☆GERMEÇSPOR☆》's Ingmar Bergman got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Tahir Pınarbaşı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ingmar Bergman to strike the kick off in the second half. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Gordon Horgan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save COPERNICUS TORUŃ from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute, Ingmar Bergman made a precise shot to the right of Gordon Horgan. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ago Vaasna showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in COPERNICUS TORUŃ's zone, Ingmar Bergman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gordon Horgan came out of the goal and Ingmar Bergman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 《☆GERMEÇSPOR☆》's Aziz Sancar was substituted for Afşin Sungur. 《☆GERMEÇSPOR☆》's Cristobal Eguzki was substituted for Baransel Kavi. Gordon Horgan was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Wictor Tinglöv capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal.
