Nacho Tzurinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amos Maietta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sebastião Nascimento might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nacho Tzurinski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastião Nascimento ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute, Durvalino Cavalcante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Itapema fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Itapema's Durvalino Cavalcante looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vitório Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darin Kanchev in the 31st minute of play. When Durvalino Cavalcante came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Itapema fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Durvalino Cavalcante couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darin Kanchev in the 36th minute of play forced Itapema's goalkeeper Vitório Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nacho Tzurinski made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Sebastião Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute of the match Itapema got a corner. ДА ЖИВЕЕ ПОБЕДАТА's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vladimir Albuquerque ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Itapema's Enrique Loureiro to fire away a dangerous shot which Nacho Tzurinski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Durvalino Cavalcante stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Durvalino Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Durvalino Cavalcante in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nacho Tzurinski saved ДА ЖИВЕЕ ПОБЕДАТА from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durvalino Cavalcante in the 59th minute of play forced ДА ЖИВЕЕ ПОБЕДАТА's goalkeeper Nacho Tzurinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vitório Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ganyo Dudumov in the 61st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Durvalino Cavalcante in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nacho Tzurinski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Durvalino Cavalcante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ДА ЖИВЕЕ ПОБЕДАТА's Nacho Tzurinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastião Nascimento in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Amos Maietta made a precise shot to the right of Nacho Tzurinski. ДА ЖИВЕЕ ПОБЕДАТА's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Darin Kanchev hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Vitório Massa made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Darin Kanchev sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Itapema booed when ДА ЖИВЕЕ ПОБЕДАТА was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Perduhov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Itapema's Vitório Massa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Itapema from getting a goal against them.
