The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Birdal Nuratay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronnie Odell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SARAY A.Ş's Birdal Nuratay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Estefan in the 15th minute of play. CRUZ DEL SUR were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after SARAY A.Ş's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bautista Marcó took the corner. The corner led CRUZ DEL SUR's Bautista Marcó to fire away a dangerous shot which Birdal Nuratay despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Augusto Estefan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Birdal Nuratay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Zachariasz Dudkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zheng Li Ling, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Birdal Nuratay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Estefan's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Abundio Manzano made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SARAY A.Ş's Hüseyin Can Gözlem. CRUZ DEL SUR's Wu Hong Fei quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hermínio Furtado, made in the 57th minute of the game. 58 minutes into the game, Augusto Estefan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Birdal Nuratay.
