Seyfullah Akkılıç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertin Gandia in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertin Gandia in the 11th minute of play forced GALLERA TRABZON FK's goalkeeper Seyfullah Akkılıç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wágner Recife received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Donato Garcia came out and tried to block the shot, but Wágner Recife slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 12th minute. Wágner Recife hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Bertin Gandia might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Seyfullah Akkılıç. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bertin Gandia ran back to his position shaking his head. Seyfullah Akkılıç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertin Gandia in the 22nd minute of play. Donato Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wágner Recife in the 23rd minute of the match. After 26 minutes of play, FORZA BRESCIA's Bertin Gandia made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Seyfullah Akkılıç was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to GALLERA TRABZON FK getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Sean Dekker hit a great ball. Caetano Mudarra missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 37 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Seyfullah Akkılıç right hand side. Bertin Gandia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Seyfullah Akkılıç read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in GALLERA TRABZON FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! Seyfullah Akkılıç had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Lalo Lagunas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 1-3 came in the 47th minute when Lalo Lagunas all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Seyfullah Akkılıç. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wágner Recife to make the kick off. If Sean Dekker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seyfullah Akkılıç was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Bertin Gandia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bertin Gandia really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. With a little luck, GALLERA TRABZON FK's Seyfullah Akkılıç got control of the ball when Bertin Gandia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Donato Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Recife in the 60th minute of play. After some careless play in the GALLERA TRABZON FK defense, Bertin Gandia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Seyfullah Akkılıç. The GALLERA TRABZON FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Seyfullah Akkılıç should have stopped the shot. Donato Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Recife in the 76th minute of play. Bertin Gandia took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Seyfullah Akkılıç. Seyfullah Akkılıç dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. 85 minutes into the match, GALLERA TRABZON FK's goal looked a bit too open when Bertin Gandia came free, but Seyfullah Akkılıç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bertin Gandia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Seyfullah Akkılıç having to make a save. With a little luck, GALLERA TRABZON FK's Seyfullah Akkılıç got control of the ball when Bertin Gandia tried to sneak it across the goal line.
