An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheslav Veselov in the 24th minute of play forced Wyszyny's goalkeeper Robert Kaczanka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Wyszyny's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Ferrara came free, but Robert Kaczanka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cornelius Baxter got free with Robert Kaczanka in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wyszyny's Ludomir Serwacki got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robert Kaczanka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Ferrara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 played minutes Wyszyny got a freekick which was hit by Jacek Kocieniewski. 39 minutes into the match, Coventry Wasps's goal looked a bit too open when Miroslaw Kisielka came free, but Zhao Ran Ming reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wyszyny's Robert Kaczanka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Wyszyny from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camilo Ferrara in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robert Kaczanka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th minute, John Moyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zhao Ran Ming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludomir Serwacki in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Camilo Ferrara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Kaczanka was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Coventry Wasps made a substitution. Zack Doughty replaced John Moyle. Ludomir Serwacki's late challenge caught a Coventry Wasps's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludomir Serwacki helped the player get up and apologised. Ludomir Serwacki kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. When Ludomir Serwacki came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Wyszyny fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludomir Serwacki couldn't finish the play. Robert Kaczanka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Coventry Wasps had played much better football throughout.
