Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gheorghe Taşcău started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Kobra TEAM getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Amauri Lopes hit a great ball. If Cristian Naike had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Naike got free with King Junior in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elpidio Vitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionică Lucescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Gheorghe Taşcău might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elpidio Vitin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gheorghe Taşcău ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Naike got free with King Junior in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vélez Juniors's Elpidio Vitin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionică Lucescu in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Quinteros in the 31st minute of play forced Kobra TEAM's goalkeeper King Junior to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, one of Kobra TEAM:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kobra TEAM. Cristian Naike shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After 43 played minutes Vélez Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Eriz. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Naike to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Vélez Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Quinteros. King Junior showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Naike, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Kobra TEAM made a substitution. George Mineață replaced Cazimir Corbeanu. Gheorghe Taşcău sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vélez Juniors's Donato Efraim was substituted for Alberto Joey. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gheorghe Taşcău in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elpidio Vitin saved Vélez Juniors from getting behind. Elpidio Vitin stood somewhat misplaced when Gheorghe Taşcău came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 69 minute. Cristian Naike kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Amauri Lopes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elpidio Vitin. Vélez Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amauri Lopes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Vélez Juniors's Benicio Rivas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by King Kobra, made in the 78th minute of the game. George Mineață made in the 85th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Vélez Juniors's Elvio Checa. Kobra TEAM's King Junior played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Checa in the 88th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Kobra TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Naike came free, but King Junior reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Elvio Checa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. King Junior was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 96th minute, George Mineață hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kobra TEAM's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
