In the 31st minute, Alfons Helström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arturo Boruc. The goal made the score 1-0. Alfons Helströms short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Arturo Boruc to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alfons Helström in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arturo Boruc, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Alfons Helström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfons Helström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Boruc was a little too slow when Alfons Helström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aleksander Bykowski to make the kick off. Arturo Boruc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfons Helström went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 56 minutes into the match, Jofurs Drängar's goalkeeper Kim Åkesson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aleksander Bykowski. Jofurs Drängar's Kim Åkesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksander Bykowski in the 58th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfons Helström in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arturo Boruc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jofurs Drängar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Jakobsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Alfons Helström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arturo Boruc. Gortaty's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfons Helström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. When Michael Jakobsson came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Jofurs Drängar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Jakobsson couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute, Gortaty's Milosz Rzeszutek seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Milosz Rzeszutek the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gortaty protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Milosz Rzeszutek had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 79th minute, one of Gortaty:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gortaty. The referee gave Jofurs Drängar a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alfons Helström, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gortaty's Arturo Boruc. 5-0. 84 minutes into the match, Gortaty's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Glad came free, but Arturo Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Magnus Glad scored 7-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arturo Boruc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 98 played minutes Jofurs Drängar got a freekick which was hit by Michael Jakobsson.
