In the 6th minute, Bernardinho Abreu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arturo Boruc was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Joris Scheer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arturo Boruc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute S.C.CHUÍ were awarded a corner. Bernardinho Abreu went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Bernardinho Abreu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arturo Boruc quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Arturo Boruc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Patrício in the 14th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Gortaty defense, Joris Scheer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arturo Boruc. The Gortaty fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arturo Boruc should have stopped the shot. Arturo Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joris Scheer in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gortaty's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bernardinho Abreu was slow to take the kick. During this time S.C.CHUÍ's players had a chance to rest. S.C.CHUÍ's Bernardinho Abreu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arturo Boruc in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 27 minutes into the match, Gortaty's goal looked a bit too open when Derwin Valensuela came free, but Arturo Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 31 minutes into the game, when Cezary Mosiniak put in a rough tackle. The audience was convinced that Joris Scheer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Boruc was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. S.C.CHUÍ's Joris Scheer got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arturo Boruc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joris Scheer went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. S.C.CHUÍ made a substitution. Caetano Paranaense replaced Luiz Pereira. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

With a little luck, Gortaty's Arturo Boruc got control of the ball when Joris Scheer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joris Scheer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arturo Boruc came out and tried to block the shot, but Joris Scheer slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 60th minute. In the 64th minute, Joris Scheer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arturo Boruc was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Arturo Boruc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardinho Abreu in the 67th minute of the match. Gortaty's Arturo Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardinho Abreu in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute of the match, Bernardinho Abreu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arturo Boruc saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Arturo Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardinho Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo Boruc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joris Scheer in the 84th minute. Arturo Boruc made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Joris Scheer sent off a good shot on target. Arturo Boruc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. Arturo Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardinho Abreu in the 91st minute of play. S.C.CHUÍ were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Gortaty's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elder Donatello took the corner.
