The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Los Frogos's Mattias Jansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons Helström in the 7th minute of play. After 9 minutes Los Frogos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Phan Dung who took care of the corner kick. 16 minutes into the match, Los Frogos's goal looked a bit too open when Alfons Helström came free, but Mattias Jansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Frogos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Phan Dung was slow to take the kick. During this time Jofurs Drängar's players had a chance to rest. When Michael Jakobsson came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Jofurs Drängar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Jakobsson couldn't finish the play. Kim Åkesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haldun Bilen in the 23rd minute of play. Mattias Jansson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alfons Helström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haldun Bilen in the 34th minute of play forced Jofurs Drängar's goalkeeper Kim Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfons Helström in the 38th minute of play forced Los Frogos's goalkeeper Mattias Jansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Mattias Jansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vedat Arslanoğlu in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute Magnus Glad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Jansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kim Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoffer Mårtensson in the 59th minute of the match. After 61 minutes Jofurs Drängar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Godholm who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Godholm got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kim Åkesson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 65th minute of the match Ted Salkvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mattias Jansson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mattias Jansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfons Helström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th match minute, Jofurs Drängar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfons Helström to maneuver through the defense. Alfons Helström kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Mattias Jansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magnus Glad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Godholm hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Los Frogos's Conny Kullgren was substituted for Marcus Ekblom. A collision led to Los Frogos getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Tomas Godholm hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Magnus Glad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jofurs Drängar's supporters rose to their feet, but Magnus Glad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mattias Jansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mattias Jansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vedat Arslanoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfons Helström in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mattias Jansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Jofurs Drängar's zone, Christoffer Mårtensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kim Åkesson came out of the goal and Christoffer Mårtensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 87 minutes Los Frogos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Phan Dung who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Vedat Arslanoğlu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a rather tough play, Jofurs Drängar's Vedat Arslanoğlu got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Michael Jakobsson charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michael Jakobsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th minute, Michael Jakobsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
