Aleksander Bykowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Gortaty's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Gortaty's Aleksander Bykowski to fire away a dangerous shot which Kim Åkesson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Kim Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franciszek Wicherek, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Gortaty's goal looked a bit too open when Alfons Helström came free, but Jerzy Konopka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfons Helström scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jerzy Konopka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cezary Mosiniak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kim Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezary Mosiniak in the 52nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Jofurs Drängar's Jerzy Konopka threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alfons Helström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 55 minutes into the match, Jofurs Drängar's goal looked a bit too open when Cezary Mosiniak came free, but Kim Åkesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Douglas Linqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jofurs Drängar played a much better game than Gortaty and deserved their victory. The Gortaty players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
